Preston's Birthday

Preston's Birthday is in April.... a little late getting things posted I know. He is such a happy kid and easy to buy for. Here are a few pictures from that day! The Peter's gave him a new alarm clock, Carson and Mally game him a soccer ball and mom and dad gave him some new board boots. Thanks for being such a great kid Preston!

WE'RE READY!

We had a lot of fun getting together with the Snow family that lives in town. We ate good food and then watched the younger kids search for eggs and the older kids went on a treasure hunt. Thanks to the Jenkins family for pulling it all together!

Mally Turns 6!

Mallory has been asking for a 'animal' birthday party for months now. She finally got one. We played 'pin the nose on the dog' and made animal puppets out of paper plates. It was a lot of fun. It took her 6 blows to blow out her 6 candles. Do you think she still gets her wish?

On Saturday we went for another load of rocks. We spent the morning loading the trailer. The kids were great help. My grandma Toni came with us and when the tires were looking a little flat I fired her. She was stopping to pick rocks up all the way back to her car. She makes me look like a wimp.

Saturday.... In the middle

After we had loaded the trailer with rocks, we came home for some lunch and the kids flew the kite the peters brought to them last spring. The wind was just right. It was really easy to get the kites up and flying!

Saturday....AFTER

After going to pick rocks for 3 summers we finally have the biggest part of our rock garden finished! Hip, hip hooray!

CrAZy hAiR dAy

It was crazy hair day last week. I had a lot of fun fixing Mally's hair. :o) Preston & I just tried to mess his up. I think it looks cool.

Family Time

Bill's sister has been here from Idaho, and we have been having a lot of fun! We spent the day Saturday swimming and other fun things. Mallory got a hold of my new little flip camera and made this video while we had a house full of people. It begs the question.... "Where was her mom?!" I must add.... if you are prone to motion sickness BEWARE. She is not a steady photographer.

Poetry

Both Preston and Mallory have memorized a poem for a contest at school.... Mally's video is right after she woke up... that is why she is yawning.

Grandma Sharleen

A family friend found this picture of Bill's mom and dad... I had shown it to Mally and several days later while I was doing her hair she said to me, "You know who I wish I could see, the grandma that is daddy's mom." I thought it was really sweet. I told her that daddy & I really wish we could see her too. I think this is a really fun picture of Mallory's Grandma Sharleen.

We went caroling as a family for FHE. It was snowing on us, and we had a lot of fun. The kids had a blast!
